1. Our commitment and conformance status
Our goal is to let people with a range of abilities use the information and calculation tools. The site is developed with reference to WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the current technical target and Israeli Standard 5568. This statement is not a certification of full conformance and does not replace a comprehensive manual and legal accessibility audit.
2. Accessibility measures on the site
- Separate English and Hebrew routes with the document language and writing direction declared.
- A skip link to main content, labelled navigation regions, and consistent heading structure.
- Keyboard operation and visible focus styling for links, buttons, and fields.
- Labels for calculator fields, a live result region, and semantic FAQ controls.
- Responsive layouts for small screens, text enlargement, and reduced-motion preferences.
- No flashing or automatically playing media. A security policy restricts scripts, forms, and network connections that are not required.
Automated tests verify the document shell, links, skip targets, languages, and writing directions. They do not replace manual keyboard, screen-reader, or text-enlargement testing.
3. Current accessibility support in the app
The app code includes accessibility labels, hints, and states for calculation buttons, input fields, option selectors, shortcuts, history, and tab navigation. Some errors and results are announced to assistive technology, decorative content is marked to be ignored, and onboarding responds to the reduced-motion setting. The app also uses safe display areas on iOS and Android.
Implementation in code does not guarantee that every flow is accessible in practice. VoiceOver on iPhone, TalkBack on Android, text size, increased contrast, and operating-system display settings can affect the experience. Use the latest app and operating-system version available for your device.
4. Known limitations
A complete manual test of every app screen with VoiceOver, TalkBack, Switch Control, Switch Access, text enlargement, increased contrast, and every device and screen-size combination has not yet been completed. The site has also not completed a full manual WCAG audit across every browser and assistive-technology combination.
Some controls or flows may therefore require improvement. We describe implemented measures and do not claim complete conformance without a dedicated audit.
