Privacy Notice

This notice describes the implemented behavior of the iOS and Android apps and the support site. Last updated: July 24, 2026.

1. Scope and service operator

This notice applies to the Percentage, VAT and Interest Calculator for iOS and Android and to its support site. The app is operated by Alex Omanski. For privacy questions, email app@omanski.co.il.

It describes the product version operating on the update date and does not replace the terms or privacy policies of Apple, Google, EmailJS, or Cloudflare.

2. Data stored on your device

The app stores calculation history, values and results saved in that history, calculation date and time, the selected rate, theme preference, onboarding state, and a calculation counter on the device. On iOS, a local remove-ads entitlement state is also stored.

You can delete calculations and history or choose Delete All Data in Settings. This removes the local app data listed in Settings. It does not send a deletion request to EmailJS, Google, Apple, or Cloudflare, and it does not cancel a store-managed purchase or entitlement.

3. Support requests you submit

When you choose Settings > Contact and submit the form, your name, email address, and message are sent through EmailJS to the support mailbox. They are used to receive, handle, and respond to your request.

EmailJS and the recipient mailbox may retain the request according to their settings and policies. You may email app@omanski.co.il to ask whether a request is retained and to request access, correction, or deletion. Handling depends on our ability to verify that the request relates to you, applicable law, and legal limitations. Do not include payment details, identification numbers, or sensitive financial information that is not needed to handle the request.

4. Advertising, consent, and analytics

Google Mobile Ads and UMP

The app integrates Google Mobile Ads to display ads and the User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent status information and show privacy choices when required. The ads system is initialized only when UMP reports that ads may be requested.

Depending on your country, device settings, and choices, Google services may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. See How Google uses information from apps and sites.

Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics is disabled by default. The app may enable it when UMP reports that consent is not required in the region, or when a choice permitting storage and access to information on the device has been obtained. When disabled, the app's custom analytics events are not sent or queued for later transmission.

The custom events in the app code describe the platform, app version, ad placement and format, consent steps, remove-ads offer status, ad-revenue metadata (value, currency, and precision), and technical error metadata. They do not contain calculation amounts, your name, email address, or contact message. When Firebase Analytics is enabled, Google may also process standard events and technical information according to the service configuration.

5. App stores and purchases

Apple and Google process information required to download, update, and distribute the app according to your account and store settings. In the iPhone version, when shown, an App Store purchase can remove ads and a previous purchase can be restored. Apple handles payment, account, and entitlement information. The Android version currently has no remove-ads purchase flow.

6. Support site and browser calculator

This is a static site with no contact form or third-party measurement script. The calculator runs in your browser and does not send the amount or rate you enter to a server.

The site stores only an explicit language choice in browser storage under taxapp-site-language. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data. Cloudflare Pages hosts and protects the site and may process IP addresses, request details, security data, and technical logs. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

7. Retention and security

Local app data remains until you delete it in the app, clear the app's operating-system data, or uninstall the app. The site language choice remains until you clear site data. Information processed by external providers is retained according to their settings, needs, and policies.

The app and site use platform security measures and HTTPS connections, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Delete calculation history or local app data in Settings.
  • Manage advertising privacy choices when UMP makes the entry point available.
  • Remove the language choice by clearing site data in your browser.
  • Ask to access, correct, or delete a submitted support request, subject to applicable law and legal limitations.

Your local law may provide additional rights, such as restriction or objection. Contact the privacy address above to ask about a request.

9. Providers and international processing

Apple, Google, EmailJS, and Cloudflare may process information in different countries. Processing is subject to each provider's infrastructure, agreements, and policies: Google, Apple, EmailJS, and Cloudflare.

10. Changes and contact

This notice may change when the app, site, or integrated services change. The updated text and date will be published here.

Privacy questions: app@omanski.co.il. General support: app@omanski.co.il or Settings > Contact in the app.
